                             SAFETY & ORGANISATION

For public displays the audience must be at least 25 metres from the firing area and only view from the front.  It is the event organisers responsibility to rope off the appropriate areas.

A clear debris drop zone must be available well away from any buildings as a large amount of debris is produced by display fireworks.  Permission must be obtained if adjoining land is used.  Car parking must be well away from all roped off areas.

Any other attractions, including bonfires, must be sited a safe distance away.

Although we are fully covered by insurance, we cannot be held responsible for any negligence of the event organisers or their failure to follow our safety recommendations.  We suggest the organisers take out 'Public Liability Insurance'.

In order to maintain public safety and security you must allow 1 steward per 200 spectators.

If you wish to have your display fired after 23.00hrs permission must be obtained from local authorities.

The police and fire service must be advised if you are holding a display open to the public.  We suggest the St. Johns Ambulance or similar organisation attends the display.  We feel you should advise any groups that may be upset by your display, hospitals, farmers, the elderly etc.

All public thoroughfares within 25 metres of the firing area boundary must be closed to the public for the duration of the display.

Once we have received your order and appraised the site any further safety recommendations will be forwarded to you.
